In December 2021, for a bit of festive fun, we conducted a representative survey of Scots on the 9th of December and asked them to name their favourite festive tune - as well as the one they disliked most - STV News featured the results here - but read the detail for yourself below
We also asked Scots which of the two festive celebrations they liked most - Christmas or Hogmanay. Up until the late 1950s, most Scots didn’t get a public holiday at Christmas, instead the focus was on two days at New Year. But in 2021, what do the current generations enjoy most?
