To coincide with the launch of the 2022 Awards, the 56 Degree Insight team undertook some extensive research amongst a nationally representative sample of Scottish adults to determine their latest opinions, attitudes and behaviours when it comes to food and drink, including:

  • Where does health fit within their dietary considerations?

  • How important are locally produced food and drink products?

  • Where do we shop for our food and drink - and for what items?

  • How do we decide between similar products?

  • How important is sustainability?

The video below provides some of the key headlines from the research. Additionally, you can download an eight-page summary of the key findings as a PDF from the link below.

This is just a taster of what’s ahead. Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be publishing further findings and more in-depth analysis on specific issues of interest and relevance to the Scottish food and drinks sector.
